US Vice-President JD Vance has expressed his commitment to what he views as “God’s work,” acknowledging that his endeavors might play a role in ushering in the end times. During a recent podcast interview, Vance shared his thoughts on the potential proximity of the end times, suggesting that while he is uncertain about the current state of world events, the eventual arrival of such a period is inevitable. He speculated that this could occur thousands of years from now or perhaps much sooner.
Vance voiced his concerns about the presence of the Antichrist in today’s world, citing certain developments in modern society that he finds concerning from a religious standpoint. One of his primary critiques revolves around the increasing reliance on artificial intelligence in personal relationships. He described the substitution of AI for human interaction as “kind of satanic,” emphasizing the importance of genuine, meaningful relationships among people.
The vice-president also recounted moments of spiritual unease he has experienced during meetings with international leaders. He mentioned that certain remarks or discussions have triggered what he termed a “spiritual alarm bell,” suggesting a sense of spiritual darkness in those encounters.
In addition to his reflections on spiritual and societal issues, Vance defended President Donald Trump in light of an AI-generated image that depicted Trump in a manner reminiscent of Christ. Vance clarified that Trump did not intend to disrespect Christianity or equate himself with God, describing the image as a humorous gesture rather than a serious portrayal.
